Storage is one of the most essential elements of our space – whether it be our home or office! We cannot always have the luxury of space, but Storage remains that constant requisite. Let us explore storage hacks for the compact home and office.
Ceiling Shelf

We often tend to limit our focus on the lower areas of our space. The ceiling up there remains under-utilized, limiting its purpose to hold up fans and the lights, right? You can add a shelf along the top of the ceiling and store things that you need but seldom use. It does not block or use up any space that is already in use and remains fairly out of the sight. You can also add sliders to the shelf so they cover your stuff well.
Under The Table

You would want to stretch your legs comfortably as you work on that desk. But hey, do you need all the space there, right and left? You could keep the cartons that you have presumed to be a waste already, by keeping your bunch of papers inside them and neatly placing the carton under your table. How many Cartons? That depends on the space you have. That becomes our next hack.
Carton Cool!

We have cartons that we have brought home or office by stuffing things in. Undoubtedly, these are considerably occupant and easy to have. But we tend to assume those as scrap once we are done “shifting” our space from a place to another. Wait, don’t throw them off, or fold them down. Segregate your stuff. Organize them accordingly, and place them well into the carton and keep the cartons in a row or the corner, accordingly. You can also keep a small vase to uplift the look. A newspaper or magazine also does the job!
A File Case

Do you have a whole closet with files that are eating up your space? You need to discard it. The mantra for making space is discarding what is no longer required, and replacing it with a compact element that can be utilized as much! Dozens of file shelves are available in the market. These are compact, look good, and are mobile! Big, small, horizontal, vertical- You can choose one that fits well as per the calling of your space, and you are good to store!
Hook It Up

Do you have handbags, sacks, dumped here and there, and you can’t find a single one when you need it? Stick some cute hooks on the side of your wall, and hang these. This will help you free the space that you had dumped these bags in, and also keep things handy for you.
Glass It In!

Do you have pens, sketch pens, markers, highlighters scattered everywhere on the table, and in drawers? I am sure won’t be finding one when you need it. Grab a glass you have, and the pens in that. You have your pen holder ready. Place it on the desk. Saves time. Saves space!
Storage Hack Under The Bed
You can store sheets, rough materials, or even stuff that you want, but rarely use, in the gap under your bed. You can keep those in trays, and place them under the bed so you might pull the tray out as and when you need, like a drawer.
Install A Shelf On Your Wall

This is another easiest storage hack! You can place your books atop it. Or your daily essentials like deodorants, hairbrushes, etc.
A Multipurpose Couch

Consider replacing your bed with a compact sofa-come-bed. You cannot only stretch it into a bed but also store things inside of it!
What’s Behind The Door?
You can install hooks behind the door to hang your clothes. You can also install these on the lower end of your door’s behind, and hang your shoes there. This will keep the space neat, will not show on the outside, and guess what? It won’t let your door bang the walls when it’s windy!
Final Thoughts
Organizing is the trick! No matter how much space you have, if you keep things carelessly scattered and disorganized, a hundred yards would also seem less! So sort everything in, and you’ll see the space that is instantly created.
